Lenovo gives Apple a run for its money
Apple has been reigning as one of the most innovative brands, with although more expensive prices than other big names like Samsung and Microsoft, has a consumer perception as being a brand that produces high-quality products.
Once the most valuable brand in the world, Google isn’t the only company trying to create as much hype as Apple, with the same brand loyalty that it has worked up to, even though smaller than the Android market.
Lenovo has been a household name in the PC world, and is now trying to climb the ladder of innovative technology excellence.
During Lenovo’s Tech World conference, it announced a few concepts, one of which will sound familiar – the smartwatch, but with a twist and competitive edge from that of the recently released Apple Watch. Lenovo’s Magic View sports a chic look with two screens – one with a regular view, and the second, with a virtual display 20 times larger than the typical watch display.
The second concept Lenovo announced was its virtual keyboard and built-in projector planned to be in their smartphones. The keyboard would be projected onto any surface for users to have access to a full keyboard. The projector would be able to display anything from the phone such as videos or games, onto a wall or large screen.
The third concept was created for the feet – Smart Shoes – high-tech shoes that has the capabilities of reading your mood, and displaying fitness data.
Although these aren’t products on the shelves yet, it is a wise to test them out a little more before introducing such innovative products into the market. No one wants the same faith as Google Glass.
