Nintendo/Universal Studio Announces Upcoming Nintendo Park

When you think of Nintendo, you immediately think of amazing non-stop action video games.  Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Pokemon and Legend of Zelda are some favorites that come to mind. Nintendo has announced that they have entered a partnership with Universal Studios theme parks to bring your favorite video game characters to life.

 

That’s right! Universal Studio visitors will soon be able to experience Nintendo’s finest games in real life!

 

While the deal has been announced, both companies are tight lipped on the specifics. One thing’s for certain, with the success of the Harry Potter franchise at Universal parks in Florida and global video game sales expecting to top $100 billion this year, this is a no-brainer.

 

Rumors are swirling that the partnership will include the creation of interactive attractions, pitting riders against each other in some good old fashion Nintendo mayhem. Can you imagine if they bring Super Smash Bros to life? I’d pay for a five year membership!

 

There has been no word on when we can expect to see the first ride open; but with Disney preparing to celebrate it’s 60th anniversary this summer and their upcoming expansion into Star Wars and Marvel character attractions, it is a race against time for both Nintendo and Universal.
