Since its beginnings a while back with the Oculus Rift Kickstarter, the Rift has been shaped by gamers, investors, developers, and enthusiasts around the world. On May 6th 2015, the makers of the highly sought after gaming headset are incredibly excited to announce that the Oculus Rift will be shipping to consumers in Q1 2016, with pre-orders later being accepted later this year.
The Rift delivers on the dream of consumer virtual reality with compelling content, a full ecosystem, and a fully integrated hardware/software tech stack designed specifically for virtual reality.
